  • If you delete the media message and the receiver has an iPhone, the receiver may have the media file in their photos.
  • WA gives you only one hour to use this option.

Using AntiDelete App

  • Open Google Play Store and search for the AntiDelete app. After that install it on your phone.

The popup windows show the message – This app uses a notification service to access messages before being deleted. Tap on Allow to open setting and turn on notification access for AntiDelete. If you’re a die-hard WA user, you may know about the mod apps for WhatsApp. These apps give more features than the official app. However, all mod apps are not safe and may steal your data. But still, most people prefer these apps to get more features.

You can use GBWA, YOWA, FMWA, or WAPlus. These apps come with an anti-revoke feature. With this feature, you can get the message back after deleted by the sender. However, you can use any app from the list, but GBWhatsApp is the most popular among these mod apks.

  • First of all, download GBWhatsApp on your Android phone. The app isn’t available in the Play Store, so you need to download it from this link.
  • After downloading, you need to install it on your phone. Open File Manager or Download to install it. Before installing, you need to enable the Unknown Sources option from Device settings.
  • Login to the GBWA by entering your mobile number. The process is the same as the stock WhatsApp.
  • After that, open the app and tap on the three vertical dots from the top right to open the menu. You’ll see the options list.
  • Tap on the Privacy option and Enable Anti-Revoke option from the list.

3. Use WhatsApp Chat Backup

How to See and Read Deleted WhatsApp Messages on iPhone

iOS doesn’t support third-party or mod apps. So, if you’re an iPhone user, there is a piece of bad news for you, you can’t read deleted WhatsApp messages on iOS.

However, WA for iOS may save the media sent by someone, even after the message was deleted by the sender. But still, there are no such options available like Android OS.

Well, the Chat backup and restore option is also available for iOS users. If you lost your chats accidentally, you can recover them from the iCloud backup. But make sure, you enabled Auto Backup from settings. However, a manual backup option is also available.

To enable automatic backup, open the WhatsApp app on your iPhone and go to Settings » Chats » Chat Backup » Auto Backup, and select the frequency.
