For this, tap and hold on to the photo or video from the “.Statuses” folder and select the Copy option. If the status is an image, you can easily take a screenshot and crop that image while setting up the status.
Otherwise, for video, you need to record that video using a screen recorder. iOS 11 or later offers inbuilt screen recording functionality.

- Open WhatsApp and tap on the Status.
