Best Link Building Platforms to Help Grow Your Website
The seven platforms listed below are all aimed at helping businesses and bloggers to get backlinks from established sites that have real organic traffic. The key distinction between them is who actually carries out the work. Some of the platforms will allow the buyer to select the sites and place the orders themselves; others will have a team of publishers and a team managing the campaigns from inception right through to completion. The comparison below matches each platform to the type of team it’s best suited to, so you can quickly identify the right one without having to read through every single review.

| 2. PressWhizz | Buyers who want manually vetted websites and fast turnaround |
| 3. INSERT.LINK | SEO specialists who want to choose the exact page where a backlink will appear |
| 4. NO-BS Marketplace | Teams running English-language campaigns that want a clear breakdown of costs |
| 5. PRposting | Teams with smaller budgets that want a manager to select publishers and handle orders |
| 6. Linksman | SaaS companies looking for backlinks from IT and business publications |
| 7. Respona | Brands and agencies that prefer earning links through outreach rather than buying placements from a catalog |
Why backlinks still matter for search visibility
A 2023 Ahrefs study of some 14 billion pages found that 96.55% of them received zero organic traffic from Google. The pages that did get traffic almost invariably had links from other websites. There was a very clear correlation between the number of referring domains and the amount of search traffic a page received, with pages that had no links receiving very little traffic.
This link between backlinks and visibility now extends to AI search. A 2026 Ahrefs analysis of 1.4m ChatGPT prompts found that the majority of the pages the assistant cites are pages that would be found via a standard web search. So if a page is ranking, it’s more likely to be one that’s cited by the AI.
The big issue is scaling. Manual outreach takes weeks to get a single placement. The alternative of just buying links without checking the publisher is a bit of a gamble as the site could be part of a private blog network or could lose all its traffic once your link’s been added.
1. PRNEWS

PRNEWS is a platform for building backlinks through paid placements in news and media websites across nearly 175 countries and 77 languages. Every publisher passes identity or company verification, so buyers know each site is sold by someone with the right to represent it. The catalog can be filtered by price, SEO metrics, and topic, and each listing shows Ahrefs DR and Semrush Authority Score before ordering. Sensitive niches such as crypto, gambling, and CBD are accepted where publishers allow them.
Placements go live in one to two days on average and are subject to a 90-day guarantee (extendable to a year). If a publication is taken down, PRNEWS will restore it, offer a replacement or refund the cost to the buyer’s balance. For larger campaigns, the PRO account comes with a Bulk Site Checker, which will take a competitor’s Ahrefs backlink export and match it against the catalog to show which of those sites are in the catalog and at what price. If a site that you need isn’t in the list it can be requested by any user to be added.
- Catalog: 107,000+ outlets
- Model: Self-service marketplace
- Formats: Press releases, articles, contributor posts, listicles, interviews, thought leadership, sponsored news, and mentions
- Payment: Pay per placement + commission; optional PRO subscription
2. PressWhizz
PressWhizz is a link building marketplace with publishers in more than 90 countries. Before a website joins the catalog, the team checks its Domain Rating, organic traffic and indexing by hand. Private blog networks are kept out, and sites that later lose traffic or fall out of Google’s index can be removed. Buyers narrow the catalog with filters such as price, location, and topic.
Each placement is covered for 12 months. If a link disappears, the team asks the publisher to restore it and refunds the buyer when that fails. Teams that would rather not manage campaigns themselves can hand publisher selection, editorial coordination and strategy to the managed service, while agencies can buy white-label packages to resell under their own brand.
- Catalog: 72,000+ publishers
- Model: Marketplace + managed service
- Formats: Guest posts and link insertions
- Payment: Pay per placement; managed service from $5,000/month
3. INSERT.LINK

INSERT.LINK is a self-serve marketplace built around searching for individual pages rather than browsing through lists of domains. The buyer inputs a target keyword and an NLP search goes through over 50m pages to find the articles that have already been published and indexed on that topic. So you get a link embedded in content that’s relevant to the subject matter rather than just a link on a site in the right niche. Each result comes with page-level data (traffic, referring domains, etc.) which the buyer can look at prior to purchase.
Publishers aren’t hand-vetted, so each site and page is assessed by the buyer. There are 152 locations covered and a separate Fast Delivery Sites list contains publishers who can add a link in 3 days. Agencies with multiple clients can break their campaigns down into individual projects with their own budgets and run them all from a single dashboard. For those teams who have their own tooling in place, an MCP server and API will connect the marketplace to their existing tooling.
- Catalog: 31,000+ sites
- Model: Self-service marketplace
- Formats: Link insertions, guest posts, listicle placements, brand mentions, and press releases
- Payment: Pay per placement, starting at approximately $20
4. NO-BS Marketplace
NO-BS Marketplace combines a link building catalog with a managed service and is primarily focused on English language sites. Publishers are manually reviewed and have to meet certain thresholds (e.g. 1,000+ monthly organic visits and a DR of 20). In the self-service model, buyers get to see all 16 of the Ahrefs and Moz metrics for each listing prior to paying, although the domain names remain hidden in self-service to protect the publishers’ privacy.
A buyer who wants some assistance in the selection process can ask for Suggested Publishers. The team will then go through and shortlist the sites that meet the agreed criteria for approval. Once the sites are live, they are checked on a weekly basis under a 12-month guarantee. Larger budgets are subject to a lower commission, with 10% to 20% discounts available once monthly spend reaches $2,500, $5,000, and $10,000, respectively. For those teams who want the entire campaign managed then the managed service takes over site selection, content and link tracking.
- Catalog: 110,000+ sites
- Model: Marketplace + managed service
- Formats: Guest posts, link insertions, and digital PR placements
- Payment: Pay per placement + platform commission; managed service from $1,000/month
5. PRposting

PRposting is a link building marketplace with sites in 177 countries, all added via direct negotiation with the site owner (not via resellers). Before you order, you can see what the site is looking for, how many links it will take, and what it charges, plus the Ahrefs, Majestic, Moz, and Similarweb metrics. Every placement is published by hand and then monitored on a daily basis, so if it gets dropped or the link is edited, we’ll spot that straight away. If a placement is taken down within the first 3 months, we have a free guarantee to cover it.
Buyers who are short on time can work with a dedicated manager. Once they’ve provided the content requirements, the budget, and a price cap per link, the manager will select the appropriate sites, write up the articles, get them approved, and then report back on the results. A team running multiple sites can take a single pre-paid balance and split it across the various projects. Buyers can import their own list of target domains to see which of those are already in the catalog. They can also save a set of filters and get an email alert when a new site matching those filters comes along.
- Catalog: 23,000+ sites
- Model: Marketplace + managed service
- Formats: Guest posts, sponsored posts, news articles, press releases, interviews, reviews, and link insertions
- Payment: Pay per placement from a prepaid balance
6. Linksman
Linksman is a link building marketplace and managed service, primarily geared towards SaaS companies and the agencies that work with them. Their SaaS outreach campaigns start with the product. They go through IT, development, and business publications looking for expert reviews, software comparisons, and the like where the tool would be a perfect fit, and then get in touch with the publishers to get the link. Every site in the catalog is manually verified (private blog networks and link farms are all rejected), and the coverage is across more than 35 niches and 35 languages.
Teams who want to pick their own placements can filter the catalog by Domain Rating, traffic and niche or use the Link Suggestion Tool to find articles on a target keyword. Larger campaigns can be purchased as pre-built packages in which the team then gets to pick the publishers and plan the order.
- Catalog: 9,000+ sites
- Model: Marketplace + managed service
- Formats: Guest posts, link insertions, and SaaS outreach placements
- Payment: Pay per placement or package, starting at $29
7. Respona
Respona is a managed outreach service that gets you backlinks and brand mentions on websites that have real organic traffic. You start off with your target URLs, your preferred anchor text and your quality bar. The team then goes out and finds pages that are already ranking for those target topics and does the work from prospecting right through to publication, with every placement logged in one dashboard. As the links are won via outreach, the campaign can absolutely include placements that don’t involve any paid placements at all.
Clients who want to have a say in where their links end up can pay to have each domain approved prior to outreach commencing and can also pay to have delivery accelerated. Teams who would rather do the pitching themselves can switch to the company’s standalone DIY platform, which will find the editor’s direct email address, AI-personalise each pitch, and then send the follow-ups.
- Catalog: Not available
- Model: Managed service + DIY outreach tool
- Formats: Listicles, product reviews, comparisons, guest posts, and brand mentions
- Payment: Pay per placement from $100 (managed service); subscription (DIY tool)
A backlink is only as valuable as the page it’s placed on
The key difference between the two is how much work you’re prepared to do. The self-service marketplaces are ideal for the buyer who wants to pick each site and have complete control over their spend. The managed services are better for the buyer who wants someone else to go out and find the publishers and do the outreach for them.
No matter what the quality of the destination page is paramount. Links can help a great page get found by the right people; they can’t turn a bad page into a good one. You’ll get the best results when you have good backlinks going to good pages.
